MOSHUPA - The 387 stolen examination papers from Kgabosetso Primary School were found abandoned, together with a broken safe at Mosweedi lands by a passer-by on Sunday.

Baeti Charumbira, the principal education officer at the Examinations, Research and Testing Division, said thieves seem to have stolen the safe in the belief that there was money inside, only to find primary school leaving examination papers.

The answer sheets were for mathematics, English and Setswana examination papers. They were stolen while they were kept in a safe last week Wednesday. The suspects were still at large and the computer, which was among the stolen items, was still missing.
Police investigations are continuing.
