INDIANA COMPUTERS TAMPERED WITH AT HIGH SCHOOLJournal Gazette | 11/25/2005 | Electronics reported stolen from North Side

Several electronic items were reported stolen Monday morning from North Side High School.

A teacher?s aide discovered the items were missing when she entered the classroom about 7:30 a.m. Monday. An LCD projector that was bolted to the classroom ceiling, computer speakers and a DVD player were taken. A VCR in the room was not taken, a Fort Wayne police report said.

School staff also found that computers were unplugged and that a computer screen was damaged. It appeared someone had taken a sharp object and scribbled over the screen, the report said.

The aide also noticed that someone had logged onto her computer at 12:49 a.m. Monday and visited a pornographic site, as well as Google.com and an online computer game site, the report said.

School officials estimate the stolen items are worth about $1,340
