Solomon Islands police are investigating the theft of two important monitoring computers from the immigration department at Vavaya Ridge.
Immigration officials have revealed the computers were the ones with data on all foreign nationals living in the country.
They also revealed that police are looking at seven suspicious Solomon Islands passport, with reports saying the photos have been tampered with.
