SIX laptop computers and three monitors worth £6,000 have been stolen from a hospital.

The Dell Latitude laptops and flat-screens, plus a briefcase, were taken from Chepstow Hospital between 6.30pm on Friday and 7.50am yesterday.

PC Stuart Crocker of Gwent Police said, 'To transport this volume of goods, the thieves must have had at least a mid-size van.'
