Employees of a Greenville youth facility discovered Friday that thieves had taken computers, food and clothing from the Boys and Girls Club, police said.
The crime happened at the club on East Commerce Street.
"When workers arrived at the organization this morning they noticed that several of the CPU's (computers) were missing from one of their classrooms," said Lt. Anthony Barganier, a spokesman for the Greenville Police Department.
The employees also found missing boots and clothes used by the club's step team and missing food. The value of the stolen items was placed at $2,500.
Police found no evidence of forced entry.
