MICHIGAN COMPUTERS STOLEN FROM UNIVERSITY HALL The State News - www.statenews.com: "More than $3,000 of electronics and a guitar were reported stolen from a South Hubbard Hall room between 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. An 18-year-old student said he left the room unlocked on Friday because his roommate was home. When he returned on Saturday, two laptop computers, a cell phone, television, iPod, guitar, Xbox and Xbox game were missing from the unlocked room. The student's 18-year-old roommate said he did not remember if he locked the door. The items belonged to the student, his roommate and another 18-year-old friend, McGlothian-Taylor said.

A 20-year-old student's $1,200 Dell laptop computer was missing from her South Hubbard Hall room, McGlothian-Taylor said. It was reportedly stolen between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Friday when her roommate left the room unlocked while she went to dinner."
