Computer stolen at Lakeland

A Lakeland College student reported that a laptop computer was taken from his dorm room Sunday, the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department said Monday.

The theft of the IBM laptop, valued at about $2,000, was reported about 4:30 p.m. Sunday by Daisuke Watanabe, its owner, said Capt. Dave Adams.

Watanabe told sheriff's deputies he believed the theft occurred within a half-hour before he reported it was stolen. "
