WOODBRIDGE - Police are investigating a rash of burglary and thefts at several business on Woodbridge Center Drive.
The incidents occurred between 6 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 24.
Someone pried open the door of AXA Advisors, which is on the seventh floor of an office building at 90 Woodbridge Center Drive, and stole four Dell C640 laptops valued at $2,000 each between 10 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 3 a.m. on Oct. 24.
While police were investigating the theft of the laptop computers from AXA Advisors, they were informed that another Dell C640 laptop valued at $2,000 was stolen from Wilentz, Goldman and Spitzer's law firm, which is on the fifth floor of the same office building, between 6 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 24, the police report said.
Another pair of robberies occurred in an office building at 10 Woodbridge Center Drive, police said.
Someone entered Velocita Wireless, which is on the 10th floor of the office building, and stole four HP NC 6000 laptop computers valued at $2,500 each from four separate unlocked offices, one HP projector valued at $2,200, and one Toshiba projector valued at $3,600 between 6 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 24.
Someone entered Robert Half International, whch is on the second floor of the office building, and stole an IBM T41 computer valued at $1,500, half of the power cord from the computer, and a training binder, between 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 24. The ceiling projector was moved and the switch box was shut off, the police report said.
All the offices need swipe cards to access the offices, the police report said.
