SOUTH AFRICA STOLEN COMPUTERS RECOVERED :: rekord.co.za ::: "The Sunnyside polices’ Operation Iron Fist has led to the arrest of four suspects with stolen computers to the value of R10 000 on November 7.
The suspects were arrested at 07:00 after a tip-off from a community member, which led to the arrest of four men at the Vandag flats in Mear Street.
Sunnyside police call on residents who had computer equipment stolen after a burglary, to come to the station to identify whether any of this equipment belongs to them.
“The robbers had nine computers, a keyboard and a monitor, valued at R10 000 in their possession,” says the Sunnyside police spokesperson, Inspector Malose Mashiane.
“The Sunnyside police appeal to residents to install burglar bars or alarms before leaving on holiday over the festive season.”
“Ask someone to keep an eye on your property while you are away, at work or visiting friends.
“Close your doors and windows when going out and leave either a television or radio on while away.”
Inspector Malose ask residents to report suspicious looking people in their area and warns not to purchase stolen goods.
