Police recover stolen goods

POLICE officers served a warrant at a flat above a shop in Eastleigh Road on Friday and discovered thousands of pounds worth of stolen goods.

Items included two mountain bikes, computers, flat-screen TVs, tool boxes and a selection of power tools.

PC Adam Hall said: 'We chose a time when members of the public were around so they could see we are taking a proactive approach to solving crime in the area.

Police are still seeking a man they want to interview in connection with thefts.
