Santa Rosa Police are seeking leads to a rash of commercial burglaries resulting in the theft of more than 40 Dell computers from six separate Santa Rosa businesses.


Both laptop and desktop computers were stolen, most of them from the Mendocino Avenue North Bay Regional Center, a nonprofit organization for developmentally disabled people, and its adjacent annex, police Sgt. Lisa Banayat said.

Other personal property was stolen as well, she said.

The North Bay Regional Center, located south of Chanate Road, was burglarized Nov. 17, and the Annex on Nov. 27.

The dates of the other burglaries were not immediately available, but Banayat said they were spread over about two months.
