FLORIDA 16 COMPUTERS STOLEN FROM YOUTH CENTER Half Of Overtown Youth Center's Computers Stolen - News:
MIAMI -- A tangle of wires remains where half of the 16 computers at the Overtown Youth Center were stolen sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

The computers, purchased with a $50,000 grant last year, were stolen after someone smashed the glass on the entrance door window and used metal cutters to get past the chain lock.

In committing the theft, the thief or thieves also robbed many of the children who use the center an opportunity to access the Internet.

'They don't have no computers at home and this is the only place that they have them, but now there's not enough computers so everybody has to wait in line," 12-year-old Andrea Williams said
