A man stole three laptop computers after forcing open office doors at a building at 1688 Meridian Ave. at

7:30 a.m. Dec. 7. A man working inside one of the offices said he heard a noise before walking out and seeing a man carry a bag toward the stairwell. The man asked the burglar if he could help him with anything and the thief replied, no thank you, before leaving with the items, valued at $7,500."
