GARDEN CITY - A 7:30 a.m. Sunday alarm at Stage Department Store, 409 North Main, led Garden City Police to discover the theft of property valued at $7,200 at the nearby Regan & Co. Real Estate, 423 North Main.

Among items taken were four laptop computers, five digital cameras, two PalmPilots, computer equipment and cash.

The real estate company burglary was discovered after officers found tools, including a flashlight, screwdriver and hammer, on the ground outside the Stage business entryway."
