Suspect charged in office burglaries
A suspect has been charged in connection with 15 office burglaries over the last few months, Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne J. Forrest announced today.
Rogelio Young, also known as Shakur Lamont Young, 40, or Jersey City was arrested Thursday and charged with 15 counts of burglary and theft in various counties following a four-month investigation conducted by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Burglary Task Force and law enforcement personnel from Bergen, Hudson and Middlesex Counties. Young allegedly stole computers and other technical equipment from office complexes in Warren and Bedminster.
Following his arrest, Young was taken to the Somerset County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000 with the option to pay 10 percent. Young is also being held on related charges outside Somerset County, as well as outstanding warrants from New York and United States Immigration authorities."
