Dec. 19, 2006 03:42 PM CHATHAM, Ont. - Police say a dangling mouse was the undoing of three southwestern Ontario men.
An alert officer became suspicious after seeing a computer mouse dangling from the trunk of a car on a city street early Tuesday morning.
The officer pulled the car over and discovered a trunk full of suspected stolen computer equipment.
The trunk contained laptop computers and other hardware, along with burglary tools, police said.
The men, aged 35, 36 and 47, were being held for a bail hearing.
