Computers stolen in raid at University
THIEVES made off with expensive computer equipment after raiding at least 17 offices in a University of Sheffield building.
Laptops were among the items taken after the burglary at the Arts Tower on Western Bank in Crookesmoor.
However officers have not yet ascertained the total number of items stolen in the raid which took place between 8pm on Saturday, December 30 and 9.30am on Sunday, December 31.
PC Zareen Gulzar said today: 'We do not know how the thieves gained access to the building because it is so large with plenty of entries and exits.'
