WISCONSIN COMPUTERS STOLEN FROM NUMEROUS LOCATIONS JS Online: Milwaukee City Police Reports:

10800 block of W. Park Place - Two laptop computers were stolen from a business that was possibly unlocked, between 5 p.m. Jan. 17 and 6:30 a.m. Jan. 18.

4600 block of N. 66th St. - Someone broke in through the rear door and took money, jewelry and computer ware between 7 and 11:08 a.m. Jan. 22.

300 block of N. Warnimont Ave. - Someone broke a side door window between 7:30 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. Jan. 24, then stole camera and computer equipment, jewelry and other items.

800 block of S. 11th St. - Someone got into an apartment past a locked door handle and stole computer and electronic equipment, between 5:45 and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 24.

2600 block of W. Villard Ave. - A door was damaged for entry and money, jewelry, computer equipment and other items were stolen between 6:30 a.m. and 8:10 p.m. Jan. 24.

2800 block of N. Weil St. - Forced entry to an apartment resulted in the theft of money and computer equipment between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 23.

2900 block of N. Bremen St. - Entry was forced into a home and computer equipment, audio-visual items and money were stolen at 3 p.m. Jan. 23.

4900 block of N. 74th St. - Money, jewelry, computer equipment, audio-visual equipment and communication devices were stolen between 5:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 23.

400 block of E. Locust St. - A burglar forced open the back door before stealing clothes, computer equipment, electronics and other items between 9 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Jan. 22.

5400 block of N. 106th St. - Camera equipment, jewelry, clothes, electronics, computer equipment and other items were stolen between 6 a.m. Jan. 19 and 9 a.m. Jan. 22.

1000 block of W. Keefe Ave. - Someone forced entry to a locked home and stole clothes, computer equipment and other items between 6:45 and 10 p.m. Jan. 20.

2000 block of N. 33rd St. - Someone forced open a rear door and stole computer equipment and other items from a home between 2 and 4 p.m. Jan. 19.

100 block of E. Lloyd St. - Money, electronics and computer equipment were stolen between 9:30 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. Jan. 18.

1100 block of W. Keefe Ave. - Someone damaged two windows to gain entry to a home before stealing electronics, computer equipment, household goods and other items between 4 and 6:40 p.m. Jan. 18.

8900 block of N. 70th St. - Someone stole money, computer equipment, electronics and other items from a home between 8 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Jan. 18.

2800 block of W. Highland Ave. - Money, computer equipment, electronics and many other
items were stolen between 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 p.m. Jan. 18.

Burglary

Two laptop computers were reported stolen Feb. 4 from an unsecured room at Sandburg Hall North Tower. The theft was caught on video and two male students were identified. When police went to their room, the men said they took the laptops as "a joke" and retrieved them from under a mattress. The victims refused to press charges.

Two university laptop computers valued at $2,916 were reported stolen Feb. 7 from locked offices at Merrill Hall. Another one valued at $3,000 was reported stolen Feb. 7 from an unsecured office in the Physics Building.


A laptop computer valued at $1,899 was reported stolen Feb. 7 when it was left in a lounge area of Sandburg Hall North Tower.

1600 block of S. 23rd St. - Someone entered a locked business through a window before stealing computer equipment at 4:25 p.m. Jan. 20.
