Computer Stolen with Personal Information of Hundreds


A huge security concern for hundreds of Michiana residents.

A computer with personal information on more than 850 is missing.

C.T.S. in Cass County was broken into late Thursday night.

But police say whoever broke didn't clean out the entire building, they just took the one computer.

Cass County police say anyone who had personal information with this tax office is to quickly deal with the possibility of identity theft and protect their personal information.

Cass County Sheriff's Department Capt. Lyndon Parrish says, 'We're urging anyone who had an account here to contact the credit bureau and put a fraud alert and contact their bank institution.'

Owner Lotte Kirstein is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can provide information on the stolen computer.

Any one with information should call the Cass County sheriff at (269) 445-1560.
