OKLAHOMA COMPUTERS STOLE N BY THEFT RING Stolen Goods - FOX23 News

The Rogers County Sheriff's office has a room that is full of stolen goods.
These items include computers, printers, even collector's items.

Deputies say these thieves were career criminals who knew what they were after, but it was what they did with some of the items they stole that got them caught.

“It's been really an ordeal. I wouldn't wish it on anybody.”

Keith Kuehn's vacation was interrupted by a call from the Rogers County Sheriff's Office.

“We were actually off the coast of Mexico on a cruise. We got back to Dallas, turned our cell phones on, and that's when we heard we've been burglarized.”

Deputies told Kuehn both of his cars were stolen and his home was cleaned out.

“It was a rude homecoming.”

The Kuehns thought they lost a great deal, but then two suspects made a big mistake.

“These guys were writing checks on our accounts.”

Coweta police arrested one of them. When Tulsa police arrested the other...Rogers County Deputy Joe Garber was shocked.

“They put him away on about 10 or 11 burglary charges and I thought he was still in prison. He was supposed to be doing 30 years.”

Deputy Garber says instead of learning from his mistakes, the convicted felon was plotting his next moves...this time with a group.

They were all in prison together and apparently continued hanging out with each other once they got out.

Deputy Garber says both suspects lead him to the loot at an apartment in Tulsa.

The Kuehns got their cars back, but continue to search for the other things they lost.

One thing they may never find is their sense of security.

“It's been really difficult and a lot of trauma.”

If you were a victim, deputies say you'll hear about it because many of the items had names on them. They're just trying to match those items with the owners.

After they do that, they'll make a list of the remaining items available to the public.

Here is more information:

Rogers County deputies say they're questioning another suspect and more arrests may follow.
