ILLINOIS COMPUTER STOLEN FROM HIGH SCHOOL RECOVERED The Telegraph - BREAKING NEWS: Items stolen from Cahoun High School recovered

HARDIN - Authorities recovered high-tech items stolen last weekend from Calhoun High School after rumors spread among students about who committed the burglary.

Calhoun County Sheriff Bill Heffington would not identify the perpetrators Saturday, other than to say they were between the ages of 16 and 18 and were all males.
Heffington also declined to say how many males were being investigated, because he said more people still could be taken into custody.
He confirmed the male suspects were Calhoun High School students, with the exception of one from Madison County.
The group admitted to breaking into Calhoun High School through a window on the night of Feb. 17 and the morning of Feb. 18, Heffington said. He said they took a computer and computer accessories valued at $900, as well as $350 in cash from Superintendent Carole Crum's desk, among other sundry items.
The computer equipment was recovered, some of it in the Alton area and some in Calhoun County, the sheriff said. Police found the equipment in the homes of the boys.
The money and a digital camera also stolen have not been recovered, Heffington said.
