A laptop computer was reported stolen from a male student in Sandburg Hall North Tower at 12:55 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4. University police questioned two friends of the man, who said they stole it as a joke. Thecomputer was returned and the man declined to press charges.

A male student reported a laptop computer stolen from his dorm room on the ninth floor of Sandburg Hall North Tower at 6:22 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7. The man reportedly went outside to smoke a cigarette and came back in to find his laptop gone. Thecomputer has a reported value of $1,900.
