GUAM COMPUTERS STOLEN FROM SCHOOLS Pacific Daily News - www.guampdn.com - Hagatna, GU 4:35 p.m., March 26 - Juan M. Guerrero Elementary School in Dededo and George Washington High School in Mangilao were vandalized sometime over the course of the weekend, according to public school spokesman Gerry Cruz. Thieves broke into J.M. Guerrero and stole refrigerators, computers, and CD players from 13 rooms, according to Cruz.
4:35 p.m. - Two public schools burglarized and vandalized during weekend
School officials should have an estimate of damages and loss of property by the end of the day. The Guam Police Department has been contacted and is conducting an investigation.
Vandals struck twice at the George Washington campus last weekend.
School officials discovered graffiti in a classroom and hallways on Saturday. Then this morning, teachers discovered their classrooms were vandalized as water pipes and glass was broken.
Several classes also were graffitied. Affected rooms have had their classes reassigned to the cafeteria pending repair of the damages, Cruz said.
