BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Four teenagers are in jail Thursday, accused of stealing computers worth more than $76,000 from Bellevue High School.
Five projectors and 32 notebook computers were stolen from inside a cabinet in the school's science wing in January.
Police arrested four teens after they allegedly tried to sell the computers and rumors spread about who was involved.
Now six teens, including three former students of Bellevue High, have been asked to submit DNA samples by police.
“One of the kids left an entire fingerprint set on the door and they were really clear,” said Bellevue High School principal Mike Bacigalupi.
One of the thieves was cut on glass and blood was found in the school’s hallways.
According to court documents, some of the teens have confessed to the crime.
