Vital computer equipment used by a severely disabled man has been stolen from his home in Worthing.
The 63-year-old man, who is tetraplegic, relies on the six computers containing voice recognition software to help him in his daily life.
Course work for his open university degree was also on a computer.
Police in West Sussex said his home was targeted between 18 and 25 April, while he was in a care home and improvement work was being carried out.
