Posted: 5:18 PM- The owner of a Murray business said two burglars removed a window pane from the front of his computer store Friday morning and stole about $26,000 in computer equipment and electronic equipment.
The burglary at Expercom, 256 E. Winchester St. [6500 South], occurred about 3:30 a.m.
Several pieces of equipment, including 11 Apple MacBook computers, three iPods and some other merchandise were taken, said owner Roger Smith.
In-store video captured the burglars on cameras wearing hats and clothing to cover their faces.
Murray police said it is unclear how the men removed the glass pane without breaking it, detective Kenny Bass said.
'They knew what they were doing when the removed it,' he said.
It's possible they cut the window out of the frame first, said Bass.
Anyone with information about the burglary can call police at 801-840-4000."
