Three teenagers were indicted last week for stealing more than $30,000 worth of computer equipment from McKinney High School’s award-winning yearbook program, according to Collin County court records.

Jonathan Quiroz, Raul Lara, and Josue Gonzalez, all age 17, were each charged with third-degree felony theft. A juvenile also was arrested but is not being named because of his age,McKinney police Capt. Randy Roland said.

Jose Ochoa, a former night custodian at the school, was arrested for letting the teenagers into the school in April and also was indicted last week for theft. Mr.Ochoa told police the teens attacked him and forced him to let them into the school, Capt. Roland said.

Much of the stolen equipment – including cameras, computers and other equipment – was recovered from a pawn shop in May.
