Peon held for stealing computer equipment

BHUBANESWAR: Chandrasekharpur police arrested a peon with the Reliance Infocomm for allegedly stealing computer peripherals running into thousands of rupees.

Sanjay Sahu, the peon, had clandestinely taken home as many as four CPUs and six computer monitors from the company’s Fortune Tower office.

During routine stock checking, the theft came to fore and Sahu was questioned. He had sold it to a friend Hemant Behera.

Police has arrested Sahu and recovered the computer equipment
