Office items worth $4G taken
WOODBRIDGE: Office equipment worth approximately $4,100 was reported stolen during a burglary at Romullus Design LLC on Kimball Street in Avenel.
The crime occurred between Thursday night and Friday morning, police said.
Credit cards also were taken and were used seven times following the burglary, but in three cases the attempt to use the cards failed. The attempted charges totaled $540.18 at gas stations, supermarkets and a Dunkin' Donuts in Hopelawn, Avenel, Linden, and Rahway.
A Mac Pro computer, a Konica Minolta Dimage X1 camera and a computer monitor were stolen in the break-in, which happened between 6 p.m. Thursday and 4:30 p.m. Friday.
