Humanities Council loses computers, laptop to burglars

THE office of the NMI Humanities Council was burglarized, losing computers and laptop to the thieves.
The incident was discovered by the council staff yesterday morning when they reported for work.
The council lost three desktop computers and one laptop.
The burglars gained entry through the window of the men’s restroom.
All the important files and pictures for the council’s programs were stored in the stolen computers.
The incident was reported to the police, but Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro said there was no detailed report yet of the incident as of yesterday.
She said she will release an official report today.
According to Ogumoro, the incident was reported to the police at 8:19 a.m. yesterday and police were dispatched to the King’s Plaza in Dandan.
Mercy’s Beauty Salon, which is adjacent to the Humanities Council office, was also burglarized.
