VIRGINIA COMPUTERS STOLEN The News Leader - www.newsleader.com - Staunton, Va. STAUNTON — The break-in of a home in the 2900 block of Barterbrook Road netted $5,300 in electronics, the Augusta County Sheriff's Office said. A window on the home's front door was smashed and the residence was ransacked, the sheriff's office said. Two high-definition televisions and a laptop computer were stolen. The sheriff's office said the break-in occurred between Thursday and Monday.
No arrests were made.
Pickup, computer stolen off Ft. Defiance farm
FORT DEFIANCE — A pickup and a computer were reported stolen from a farm in the 1400 block of Dam Town Road, the Augusta County Sheriff's Office said.
The 1997 Ford, valued at about $5,000, has been recovered. A laptop computer taken from a shed and valued at $500 remains missing. The thefts occurred Friday afternoon, the sheriff's office said.
No arrests were made.
