DAILY EXPRESS NEWS Hiding new-born in cupboard: Woman nabbed

Sandakan: A 31-year-old foreign woman is still being kept under police custody in connection with a dead newborn found hidden in a cupboard last Saturday.

It was learnt the woman was sent by a close friend to the hospital after she complained of pain.

After a check-up the hospital staff, who found the woman had just given birth, suspected something amiss after she tried covering up about the birth.
