VIRGINIA COMPUTERS STOLEN FROM FREDDIE MAC Leesburg Today - The Journal of Loudoun County - Computers Stolen From Freddie Mac:

Early Sunday morning, two suspects entered the Freddic Mac office on Commerce Center Court in Sterling and left with 56 new laptops, still in the boxes. The laptops are valued at $1,000 each.

The suspects took the computers from a back storage bay, after they held the security guard on duty against his will. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating the April 20 incident.

'Our belief is that they had intimate knowledge of this facility,' Sheriff's office spokesman Kraig Troxell said. 'They knew how to get in, what to access and what they were looking for.'

There no suspects have been identified in the case.

Troxell said there was a 30-minute delay between the time of the incident, which occurred between 12:12 a.m. and 12:36 a.m. Sunday, and when it was reported to authorities.

'The security guard made some other calls to family and to his dispatch and they're the ones who called the sheriff's office,' Troxell said.
