MIAMI -- Police are searching for a man who stole computers from a south Miami-Dade County church over the weekend.

Cameras caught the thief in action on Sunday afternoon at the Grace Baptist Church in the 19000 block of Southwest 127th Avenue.

Police said the man entered through an unlocked door and broke into an office, where he stole several computers. The man then left in a motorized scooter.

A few weeks ago, someone stole equipment from the same church. Thanks to surveillance video, a suspect in that theft was arrested.

"Please, if you recognize this fellow stealing our items, call the police department and then call us," said Assistant Pastor Alex Flores.

The equipment stolen Sunday was valued at more than $2,000.Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
