Laptop computer stolen from home

NIAGARA FALLS — A Buffalo Avenue woman had to cancel all of her online accounts after someone stole a laptop computer from her residence Friday night, police said.

The victim told police that the $1,000 computer was stolen from an office in her home between 7 and 10 p. m. Police determined that the burglar entered through a front window.

The laptop contained significant amounts of personal information, police said, prompting the victim to worry about identity theft.
