Laptop computers stolen in Weston heists
Burglars lifted laptops in Weston.
Between 7:15 and 8:05 a.m. Aug. 13 someone entered an unlocked home in the 1300 block of Garden Road and stole a Dell laptop and a PlayStation system.
At the Wyndham Bonaventure Resort & Spa, 250 Racquet Club Rd., a security official fixed a guest's safe and left at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 12. The guest locked the door but it was unlocked when he awoke at 7 a.m. and his Dell laptop and external hard drive were gone. The loss was estimated at $1,200.
A Dell laptop valued at $1,200 was stolen from an office at Falcon Cove Middle School, 4251 Bonaventure Blvd., between 4 p.m. Aug. 11 and 7:45 a.m. Aug. 12. School officials said someone broke the door windows on three portable classrooms and removed a fire extinguisher from one of them.
After prying the front door of an apartment in the 1200 block of Fairlake Trace a burglar stole a laptop computer valued at $1,140 between 4 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20.
