Laptops stolen from school
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after 21 new laptop computers worth £7,000 were stolen during a break-in at Heysham High School.
The computers, all Novo R61e Lenovo Thinkpads, were taken over the weekend, along with a batch of new Kingston red pen drives.
A hard drive and voice recording equipment used to broadcast the school's radio station were also stolen.
Police are asking the public to be on their guard against anyone offering them new computers.
