ARIZONA (UPDATE) STOLEN COMPUTER SUSPECTS HELD News: Suspects in Yuma Catholic laptop theft held on bond | theft, bond, yuma : YumaSun:

Suspects in Yuma Catholic
laptop theft held on bond

The two Yuma men
suspected of stealing computers from Yuma Catholic High School remained in custody on bonds of different amounts, as ordered by Judge Manuel Figueroa at their arraignments Tuesday in Yuma Justice Court.

Frank Reyes III, 41, was being held on $43,996 bond, while Kenneth Glenn Seaman, 35, was being held on $23,280 bond.

Reyes was charged with one count of burglary in the third degree, theft, and trafficking and selling stolen property. Figueroa ordered him to reappear for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 12 at 4:45 p.m.

Seaman was charged with one count of theft, trafficking and selling stolen property, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also ordered to reappear on Sept. 12 at 4:45 p.m. for a preliminary hearing.

Both Reyes and Seaman are unemployed, according to testimony, and will be represented by court-appointed attorneys.

In a different criminal complaint not connected to the Yuma Catholic case, Reyes is charged with one count of felony shoplifting (clothing and shoes). In that case, Reyes' bond of $10,000 was reduced to $4,100. Reyes requested a further reduction but was informed by the court it was a matter he would need to discuss with his attorney. He must return for a preliminary hearing on that charge on Sept. 10 at 4:45 p.m.

The suspects allegedly stole $35,000 worth of Dell laptop computers from Yuma Catholic High School at 2100 W. 28th St. on Aug. 24. Several stolen computers were found in Seaman's home at the time of his arrest.

Police are still looking for several models of the stolen computers including a Dell Inspiron 6000s, 6400s, and 1525s.

A reward for the recovery of the stolen computers is being offered and police ask that anyone with information about the case telephone J. Sinz at 373-4684 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
