Home invasion reaps TV and computers
BRADENTON -- Three men forced their way into a home in the 4600 block of 10th Avenue West, put the occupants into a bathroom and stole $2,000 in cash and electronics, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.
The robbery happened at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday. The three men who entered the house were dressed in black and armed with handguns.
One of the robbers struck an occupant on the head before forcing the four people in the house into a bathroom and telling them to count to 99.
The thieves took a flat-screen television, two laptop computers and the cash.
None of the occupants was seriously injured.
