NEBRASKA SCHOOL COMPUTERS STOLEN Thousands Stolen in School Thefts:
Police are investigating burglaries to three Lincoln public schools over the weekend. Officer Katie Flood says the first incident happened between Wednesday and Friday at Lincoln Northeast high school. Flood says someone broke into a portable classroom and stole an Apple computer worth $1200.
Then Flood says Sunday morning police were called to Irving Middle School where someone pried open a door, smashed 9 classroom windows and stole 8 IMAC computers, a digital camera and sunglasses for a total loss of $10,400.
Finally Monday morning officials at Dawes Middle School called police after discovering someone had broke into the school through a window in the shop classroom. The suspects then pried open the kitchen door and stole $135 in petty cash.
Police have no suspects
