Student Arrested For Drug Possession
PUTRAJAYA, March 31 (Bernama) -- Police arrested a female student and four boys aged between 15 and 17 for alleged drug possession on Friday.
Putrajaya OCPD Supt Abdul Razak Abdul Majid saidTuesday they were caught loitering around Phase 7, Precinct 9 at about 10.30am.
Upon checking, police found white powder weighing 9.4gm believed to be ketamine inside the female student's schoolbag, he told a news conference.
'We have sent the substance to the Chemistry Department for analysis,' he said.
He said the female student was released on police bail upon the expiry of the remand order yesterday while the four youths were released on the same day.
Meanwhile, Abdul Razak said police was looking for three men who impersonated cleaners to gain access to offices around Putrajaya to steal notebook computers.
The latest theft was on Sunday when a business premises in Precinct 14 lost six notebook computers worth RM22,000.
'The theft is believed to have been committed by the same group of men who stole nine notebook computers worth RM29,000 last Tuesday and in August,' he said.
