Computer equipment stolen in burglary

A thief entered a home in the first block of Cone Drive sometime between 1:30 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday, and stole $12,600 worth of computer equipment, Athens-Clarke police said.

There were no signs of forced entry and "it was apparent that whoever came into the residence did so with a key," an officer wrote in his report.
