Computer equipment stolen

COMPUTER equipment was stolen during a sneak-in theft at an Elgin house, leading to a reminder to householders to check their home security.
The house in Christie Place was entered sometime between 9pm and 11pm on Wednesday and the total value of the item stolen is thought to be worth over a mid three-figure sum.
Investigating officer Constable Thomas Millican said: "I would urge anyone with information on this crime to contact the police. I'd also like to remind all home owners to make sure that all doors and windows are secured, even when they are at home, and to report any suspicious activity to police."
