WISCONSIN COMPUTER STOLEN CrimeTracker 15: Residential Burglary: Posted Tuesday, March 17, 2009 --- 12:50 p.m.

Incident report from the Madison Police Department:

On Sunday night residents of a home in the 600 block of N. Rosa Road returned around 9:00 p.m., and spotted someone running from the area of their house. They discovered a screen had been cut, and
a laptop computer stolen. It had been on a table just inside the window where the screen had been slashed. The victims thought the criminal could have just reached in and taken it. The window had been open during the day to let in some air. A police dog was brought in, and the K9 was able to track the perpetrator’s likely path for a distance however, the crook was not found.
