Ministry of Labour’s North Street office robbed again

For the second time in less than a month, thieves broke into the Ministry of Labour’s North Street office, stealing five computers and injuring two watchmen.

The thieves forced their way into the company’s office at 1F North Street on Sunday night and made off with the computers, all from the fifth floor.

Reports are that sometime after 9 p.m., the men gained entry into the building and stole the machines. They were confronted by the guards. The men, however, attacked the guards, stabbing them both before escaping with the machines.

The office was broken into on March 19 and three computers were stolen from the first floor in that incident.

Both guards are in hospital in critical condition.

The Central police are investigating.
