Home burglarized: About 11:15 a.m. March 19, a man and his wife took their car to a mechanic for repairs. They told police that when they returned home 30 minutes later, the front door of their house in the 6400 block of Grant Court had been kicked in. They said jewelry, a watch, two laptop computers and 15 DVDs were missing. The stolen items were valued at more than $3,050.
