Partner Shares Stolen Laptop Info with IT Assocs

Microland Computers, a Jabalpur-based channel partner, has circulated the serial numbers of 20 stolen laptops to all IT associations in his neighbourhood. The stolen laptops and MP3 players are worth Rs 10 lakh.

This will alarm the authorities about the stolen laptops and also Microland, who registered a theft complaint with the police.

Sanjay Jain, Owner, Microland Computers, said, "Besides registering an FIR in the police station, we have circulated the details of stolen laptops and other items to all the other neighboring cities, including Indore and Bhopal IT associations."

According to Vikas Sharma, Member, Bhopal-based Bhoj Information Technology and Office Automation Dealers Association (BITOAA), "We have circulated the serial number of the stolen laptops to the associations and also across the country. However, if anybody comes across the item, they can immediate contact us."
