FLORIDA COMPUTERS STOLEN Golf carts stolen from Hallandale High - Southeast Broward - MiamiHerald.com:
MIRAMAR
Laptops gone: A teacher at Miramar High School, 3601 S. Douglas Rd., placed 16 laptop computers in a laptop cart and locked it with a combination lock about 2:30 p.m. April 27. He told police the classroom was empty when he locked the door at 2:50 p.m. When he returned the next day at 8:05 a.m. the lock was no longer on the cart and the laptops were missing along with an LCD projector that had been on the desk. A red bolt cutter sat next to the laptop cart. The video surveillance camera showed a man wearing a black-and-white striped hoodie enter a connected classroom at 3:19 p.m., carrying a folded duffel bag.
He left with the duffel bag -- that now appeared to be full -- through the teacher's classroom and returned about 20 minutes later, again carrying a folded duffel bag. It appeared to be full again when he left.
