Man charged in Garden City burglary

A man who stole two laptop computers from a Garden City office building Sunday afternoon was quickly arrested on a burglary charge, Nassau police said.

Michael B. Ellis, 45, unlawfully entered the 370 Old Country Rd. building and took the computers at around 5 p.m., police said. He was arrested right outside the building at Old Country Road and Ivy Court.

Ellis, of 1001 Harrison St., Uniondale, faces arraignment Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
