KUALA TERENGGANU: Computer equipment and a projector, worth a total of RM10,500, were stolen from a public computer centre here on Saturday.

A police report on the theft at the centre in Kampung Wakaf Mempelam was lodged by its technology executive at 5pm on the same day.

State CID chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Fauzi Abduri said the executive claimed he closed the office at 1am on Saturday and found it ransacked when he opened it at 3.30pm that day.

Fauzi said seven system units, four laptops and the projector were among the missing items.
